Goodbye 2019, Hello 2020!

As we reflect on this past year, we feel a strong sense of gratitude towards the fantastic customers who came through our doors and our dedicated staff who rolled out the red carpet every day for each one of our guests.

Our Ottawa location opened at City Centre in the Summer of 2019 which meant not only were we a new business in town, but all our employees were brand new as well. Our first location in Athens, Georgia had a few more months under their belt, but had also never experienced a rush typically associated with the Holiday Season!

It wasn’t long before our staff was fully immersed into a revolving door of parties & events and let me tell you... LumberJaxe was busy!

The LumberJaxe staff embraced the challenge despite still being in the infant stages of their new roles. Their professionalism, teamwork, positivity and dedication were evident and was a major contribution to the successful events we hosted this season!

Our schedule was completely booked with holiday parties, birthday parties, client appreciation and team building events, date nights and family and friend reunions. LumberJaxe was lively, thriving and filled with excitement!

A highlight of the year for the Ottawa location was the debut of our first ever Offsite Axe Throwing Lane in the Fall of 2019. We attended the October West Craft Beer Festival in Ottawa. It was a great event that we were thrilled to be a part of and hope to attend again in 2020.

A highlight for the Athens location was welcoming the UGA Football team in for a couple of hours to relax as a team and partake in some friendly competition! We hope to see them again soon!

As a successful 2019 comes to an end, we are looking forward to starting a fresh new year and seeing new and old faces alike at LumberJaxe. Our Winter Axe Throwing League kicks off on January 15, 2020! Our member registrations have doubled so far since our Fall League and we expect a big turnout.
